Snookaholic Fishing Guides and Charters

Capt. Chris Rosende - Photos

Fishing Tampa Bay and surrounding waters for over 20 years, Capt. Chris is among one of the most respected fishermen in the area.  Known for his “snooking” abilities, he makes a heavy contribution to the excitement that Snookaholics Anonymous brings us all.  Dreams of creating a fishing empire with the elite, dedicated snook fishermen in the area has finally came to life and is in full force.  “My partners and I are students of this bay, among others.  We are constantly learning new spots and maintaining old ones.  We have found that there is more to just catching a ton of fish.  The true meaning of a “sportman” is the ability to find new spots, use the right tactics to catch fish and leave the spot without entirely disturbing their habitat.  This will preserve your fishing spots for many years to come, and will allow you to someday share your wisdom with those who strive to learn.”  Chris works full time as the vice president at The Molding Depot, Inc., so his trips are limited to evenings and weekends.

Capt HANK EVERING / SHALLOWMINDED charters

A native Floridian with 40 years of fishing and 24 years as a guide. I love to fish and pass on what I have learned over the years. I grew up on Biscayne Bay and fished the Florida Keys for over 17 years. I have been an inshore fisherman all of my life, with the exception of fishing offshore on the "world's largest offshore rig', a 436" Navy Frigate. I served as a navigator for six years with the US Navy and fished all over the world.

Over the last 17 years, I have been a West Coast fisherman mainly from Tampa Bay to Charlotte Harbor. I still go to the Keys every year and enjoy Florida Bay. My favorite species are Snook, Redfish and Trout.

I offer both live bait and artifical trips. I'm available for tournaments. I do offer seminars and instructional classes, as well as large corporate charters. I love talking fishing and you can usually find me at the local bait and tackle store on my day off. If you want to have a good time and catch some fish, give me a call.
